WE ARE NOT ALONE

There once was a very small ant,

Who was busy with the hustle and bustle of everyday ant life.

As he looked upward through the tall grass,

He could only wonder what lay beyond the confines of his world.

Though he wasn’t aware of the whole picture—he was not alone…

There once was a fish in the ocean,

Who was busy swimming to and fro.

That’s what a fish does, you know.

As he looked up to the surface of the water,

He could only wonder what lay beyond the confines of his world.

Though he wasn’t aware of the whole picture—he was not alone…

There now is a species called Man,

Who resides upon planet earth as best he can.

As he looks up to the starry universe surrounding him,

He can only wonder what lies beyond the confines of his world.

Though he is not aware of the whole picture—he is not alone…

I know you’re here

Popping out of walls, ceilings, the ether; playing tricks

Alien humor, you say

Tantalizing; Hypnotizing; Paralyzing

Now I see you; now I don’t

Ring around a bed; a nighttime filled with dread

What other games do you play?
