Originally, the chorus lyric said "he died to set you on high.' Dr. V. P. Wierwille* called me into his office and reminded me that accuracy could never be overdone and even just one word does make a difference. He asked me to make just one change in the song. We changed the word "died" to "arose." That little change made all the difference lyrically, between leaving Jesus Christ a dead savior and depicting him, as he is in truth, a risen savior. This song is a personal favorite and has become mare mean- ingful to me over the years.
