Fast Break - The First Stop

Look! It's a black sun! It was still on the M61 I believe when we flooded the first station with Pumas. There was already some waiting, too, and the sun was getting much brighter.
Not really yet high noon, sure looks like that though There wasn't really much to take any good pictures off at a breakfast, except maybe the increased crowd. Since we were still going all nicely in single file we were probably already turning heads all over M61. Soon we had left that one though and were travelling north on M6, to pick up some of the northern chaps. There was one more picture I regret not having taken: Richard Craig however did stand on a bridge armed with a camera when we were passing through underneath, and he's got even more pictures!
Weren't these scottish? Like a trick mirror! That way we pulled into another station with another couple more Pumas added. By that time I figure we had well passed a count of twenty. We also finally added the first two red Pumas to finally have all six UK colours together. There was still a lot of silver ones, but all colours had at least two representatives by now. Somehow it always feels special to meet other green Pumas, to me.
Checkered Pumas? Naahhh...! I'm balancing on a plastic waste basket here :) Just look at the clouds mirrored in this blue bonnet! Oh, and also notice how the coppers are all set in the background to snatch speeding Pumas, but no, we weren't. One was even making a couple passes on us on that parking lot, probably just plain sight seeing. It's time for another headcount shot!
Ah, I took this one earlier really while waiting for someone else to refuel On the way off M6 to Windermere order disappeared a little, mostly due to increasing lesser traffic. Still, my rear view mirror just wouldn't clear from Pumas! Great sight, too!
The crowd in the background is curious already :) THIS one I did take while rolling Just before Windermere we took the last break to organize our invasion of the place. Since that was one small parking lot we had some fun trying to get all the Pumas triple-parked and well sorted. Look at all the people suddenly re-discovering their interest in Sharon's toy Puma. Well, at around noon we began running all through Windermere. Now, what could be expecting us at our destination?
