Received the title "Hozan" by Naokata Ueda, the Living Cultural Treasure and fourth generation of Shigaraki-gama (kiln) and started working as a professional potter. |
1965 |
Accepted as personal apprentice work for and study with Uichi Shimizu, the Living National Treasure for eight years.

Received the Tokushima prefecture Fine Art Grand Prize.

Awarded the membership in Traditional Craft Association (T.C.A.).
Received T.C.A. encouragement award for Shikoku regional. |
1983 |
Selected for permanent collection for Tsurui Museum in Niigata prefecture. |
1985 |
Architectural tile installation, "The Bird" dedicated at Kamojima Central Hotel. |
1992 |
Established "Wasaburo Gallery" and adjoining new studio "Togei-Kobou". |

Presented traditional Japanese ceramic technique two weeks intensive workshop at University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington, USA. |
