Removing Backgrounds from Images


For this lesson, I used my favorite subject, my granddaughter.
Because I was at a loss of what to do for this assignment,
I just started playing around. First with her head.
Then with a closeup of her eyes. I know, I'm a little weird.

USING CLONE BRUSHES

This one will take some time to perfect!
These 2 are my first meager efforts.


The first picture is the original and
the second is the mess I made of it! LOL










ETCHED MARBLE

I wanted to show how I improved with this lesson.
I had to play with this one a bit to
get the effect I liked. I am using PSP 7 and find
that the lessons writen for PSP 5 do not work the same in the latest version.
It takes me a bit more time to figure out what works best.


This was my first attempt. Ugh!


My second effort wasn't much better!
Wrong background? Too light?


This is more what I wanted!
I am pleased at my progress.


Closer but I don't like the color.


AAAHHHH! This is what I like. Good thing too!
It's time for bed.


ANIMATED SIGNATURE


This one was a doozy! I finally got it!
And it only took me about 2 weeks and at least 50 tries!
Aren't you proud of me? Well, at least my tenacity? LOL
Next one will be better but I need a rest first.
