Then I had a child hood, it involved watching the smurfs and going grocery shopping with my grandmother on thursdays. It also involved LEGO and G.I.Joe (oh, you broke the rubber band, his legs have fallen off) and Transformers (robots in disguise, autobots fight decepticons...) and Care Bears and My Little Ponies and Rainbow Brite and, well, the eighties.
By the time I hit high school in 1993 I was a real nerd. My parents had split. I studied for third form tests (oh the shame), I role-played (okay I still do that but in a mature, pseudo-stylized form of self-expression as apposed to a nerdy way to make friends like it was then), I even did other peoples homework for them just to be nice. But the universe felt sorry for me and in forth form I developed a little more dignity and a certain talent for sloth.
By fifth form I hated school with a vengence (but never wagged, coz waggers are bad stupid people) so i grudgingly went to classes everyday with the plan to prove I was a failure and get to flunk out of school and be a bum. Then I passed all six school certificate subjects I sat (and with a B average) and decided I didn't hate school all that much. Then sixth form happened and i got a very good score for Sixth Form Certificate but had a couple of evil teachers so felt ripped off anyway. Then Seventh form and Bursary happened, I got B bursary, which means i get two hundred dollars out of the government (spread over two years though) and got into university.
And that gets us upto this year.
First year at University doing Health Sciences with the hope of getting into pharmacy so I could have been a legalized drug-dealer when I grow up. I did no study at all so I did not get the B+ average I needed and failed :o(.See FAILED
So double degree English/Chemistry here I come. Wahoo, party on, rock till you drop, Yay, Yay, Go gurl, etc etc etc.
Well I could do worse.
