On the evening after my first day at high school, and only a couple of days before my parents 14th wedding anniversary, my Father ran off with some guy. (Talk about unexpected, I managed to remain nicely in denile about it not being a woman until about two years later.) Over all this was probably the best thing he could have done for the family. Dad not being there ment the furniture got to be on the floor instead of being volleyed back and forth across the room. Though it did mean poverty, i didn't really notice at the time, i just realized i wasn't going to get things just because i wanted them, so stopped asking. Aren't kids great that way. They just click that things aren't going to happen so pretend they'd never hoped they would, and start hoping for something else. But i'm rambling so you'll probably want to go back.
