I'll let it be known right here that I'm not an Image literate. I know of their flagships like The Savage Dragon and Spawn, but somehow the only character that caught me for a brief period was The Maxx, brilliantly told and illustrated by Sam Keith. Vanguard was my favorite too, but the steady breaking of deadlines, late shippings and finally cancelling of the book made me lose interest. I did stick through all 6 initial issues though, and it was a thrill to have each issue illustrated by a different artist.
