The Macrocosm: The Final Chapter

Kuri was walking aside Evailia in a special part of the laboratory. This section was like a large play-version of a virtual reality game. They were walking in a “forest” together, talking about what they’ve been through.
“Evailia,” Kuri stammered, “why is this happening again? I mean, with Arrato fighting on her own now.”
Evailia stopped, looking ahead, having a face of thought, “I’m not sure, I could tell she was pretty upset about Evince being healed.”
Kuri became innocently confused, “but why? Didn’t he hate her too at the time?”
“He looked at her as a way to get to our fighters, but she saw it as her being the only female he cared about,” Evailia smiled softly to Kuri, “such a simple thing can make certain people feel so special. Don’t you worry, Kurisutaru, we can handle this.”
They continued to pace forward, Kuri held her head low thinking.
   “Evailia?”
   “Yes, Kuri,” she expected.
“Why do you think God created Alters?”
Evailia stopped, “such a sudden question don’t you think?”
Kuri blushed, putting the side of her forefinger to her lips in embarrassment. “I’m sorry, I was just thinking..”
   “Yes?”
“Maybe its just my mind, or maybe you all are real, but why did He make me like this?”
Evailia’s eyes widened immediately, “Kuri! No! Don’t speak like that, we are here. For a reason. But at the same time we are you. Don’t doubt us, Kuri.”
   Kuri smiled faintly, “yes, Evailia.”

Rajilee was resting, sitting outside the training room. Staring at SEMI, he held his bo against his forehead with one end against the floor. Sweat from his forehead ran down the weapon. His curiosity got the best of him, so he stood leaving the bo lie on the floor. Rajilee walked to SEMI’s keyboard.
   “Yes?”
Her voice startled him, “hi there. You’re the one who makes all those things during training aren’t ya?”
   “Yes.”
He scratched his head, “that’s pretty cool.”
“What are you doing?” SS3 walked in behind him, wiping his hands on a cloth.
“Just talking to the comp, if that’s alright.”
“Sure, just don’t get lost or cause a disastrous explosion or something,” he smiled and walked off.
Rajilee laughed at the thought of him running around blowing up things with his crazy “oo’s” and “ah’s”. His face lost all expression when he heard a simple “ting” and SEMI’s screen got brighter with some reflection. He turned around grasping the edge of the keyboard on both sides, then relaxed a bit when he saw someone coming in from that light. The beam separated in the middle, leaving Kuri. Rajilee smiled with relief.
“Hey,” she smiled, “I see everything went well?”
He ran up and hugged her, “yeah, something like that.”
Another beam of light created a break in the center leaving Evailia. She walked over to the two, "you made it."
Rajilee nodded. His mind brought back the vision of Yeldar. He shook it off, then fell weak again.
"Rajilee!" Kuri kneeled down to his fallen body and held up his head. As soon as she lifted it, his whole body stood up in one motion. Kuri took a step behind, ending up beside Evailia. His ego appeared again, through his chest, halfway out it turned over going back through him now standing. Yeldar flipped and landed in front of the zombie he left.
"Hello, again, Houkoudaa," Evailia said. Kuri looked back from Yeldar to Evailia. She went over to Rajilee's drained body and held him.
Yeldar looked around. "I don't know you."
"Of course not," Evailia crossed her arms, "what are you doing out, Houkoudaa?"
"Houkoudaa? Interesting. Yeldar, more interesting. I'm here because something has triggered him."
   "Nothing here could've triggered him."
"Then something is getting in to him," he said. Evailia looked at him questioningly. "I suggest you have something done."

"So let me understand this clearly, you're having him turn against the girl? Then after he kills her," Micron started.
   "We kill him." Arrato smirked.
Devion and Solidia were standing lifeless behind her. Arrato's smirk widened evilly, "I will avenge my loneliness. Those soldiers will pay."

   "So, what happened?" SS3 asked.
"He collapsed when Yeldar appeared for no reason." Kuri answered.
Rajilee was placed on a white table in the room which Renea had awoken in months prior to find Evailia, Royailia, and Child Royailia. Kuri kneeled beside him and gently rubbed his forehead. Evailia looked to her brother.
   "Any ideas?"
"Not really, maybe it was just a quick mess-up, things like this can happen," he rubbed a hand through his hair and rested another on his hip.
   "Not usually," Evailia exclaimed.
Then they went silent when they noticed Kuri holding Rajilee's hand, smiling above him in a happy/worried manner. She kissed his forehead then rested hers on his.
SS3 was wide-eyed, then looked to Evailia who had the same expression. They quickly turned around and huttled in. "What do you think that means?"
"You really think they're in love, Brother?"
"Shh! Keep it down! She looks at him with goo-goo eyes and its gonna drive us all nuts so we might as well get used to it." They looked back at her for an instant.
"Is this really appropriate for us to let her do?"
"Oh, The One never said anything about stopping the girl from living." He smirked.
"What are you two doing?" Kuri asked from behind.
The two quickly returned to their original stances and gave huge smiles.
"Nothing, I had, a, um, run in my dress! And he, um, had to bite it off!"
   Kuri tilted her head.
"Yeah, hah, darn material! Maybe we should let him rest now, eh?"
"Oh, may I stay here then and watch him?" Kuri asked.
The two siblings looked to each other again.
SS3 faced her smiling, "well we can leave that to SEMI."
   "Oh please?"
"I don't see the harm in it," Evailia smiled walking off.
SS3 ran after her, "hey! You're the one who was going on about being appropriate!"
"Yes, well, I'm 'letting the girl live'." He stopped, "ugh! Evailia!"
"Those two can be weird," Kuri said, now alone with the body. She sat down against the wall, keeping her eye on him and the system recording his status. Her knees were folded against her chest and she rested her head on them.

After a short while Rajilee grunted, dreaming again.
"He's an odd one," one person would say.
"I see nothing wrong," another replied.
"Exactly! He's too quiet or something. Something just isn't right.."
He was listening as he walked by. He could hear them, they didn't think about that. Another group was passed.
"You never really see him with people."
"People," Rajilee murmured, "all sorts of people. Everywhere you look. Everywhere you are. But they're not here."
As he walked through the hallway, he opened up wooden double-doors to be blinded by an awesome light that faded as soon as the doors hit behind him. A room full of images. He walked up to the left wall, seeing his mother holding a baby. She was much younger, and looked so tired but happy.
"Eruderu," he said aloud. His oldest brother, then he looked to the other side of the room. It was a younger boy in front of a car smiling, "Fumasu." Another picture, Rajilee's father at a younger age sitting in a car with the door open. Voices started to shrill in his mind, he kneeled down to one knee covering his ears. One after the other, they just kept speaking to him: "No good!" "Useless!" "What a waste!" "Rajilee.." "Jerk!" "Hah, loser!" "Rajilee.."
He looked up, the wall ahead of him seemed to open. In its place was a white light and a silhouette. He felt his wrists shaking against his temples, he stopped to get a better look of the being ahead of him. "Rajilee," it said again. Its voice was calm, and soothing, he felt a jerk and started to run. The light closed and let his palms hit the wall with a large echoing sound. Rajilee turned to have his back against it, and slid down the wall. He lowered his head toward his knees and began to cry.

Kurisutaru heard him making noises, she lifted her tired head off her shoulder and saw he was shaking. She forced herself up and got over to him, taking his hands. His eyes jerked open widely, and his eyebrows forked. Kuri smiled faintly, thinking he was alright.
Then she noticed a familiar light growing in his eyes.
"SS3!"

    "Transferring data process completed."
"Very well, now let me see exactly what he's going to do," Arrato stood up to Micron and watched his ripple texture solidify into an image of Rajilee sitting up by Kurisutaru.
