FIRST ANNUAL KEWADIN CASINO MIDGET HOCKEY CLASSIC

The Kewadin Indians AAA Hockey Club is affiliated with the Kewadin Casinos Junior A Hockey Team of the North American Hockey League. The Midget AAA Hockey team will skate out of the Big Bear Arena, home of the Kewadin Casinos Junior A Hockey Team. This Affiliation will make the Midget Team much deeper in talent and allow midget players the opportunity to play up at the Junior A level.

Soo Indians AAA Midget Brent Sarcone was drafted to the AWHL. Brent was drafted by the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. Brent had 22 goals and 18 assists for 40 pts this season and posted 83 pim. Congratulations and Good Luck.

RAY KAUNISTO ( LEFT ) A 6'2" 165LB LEFT WINGER WITH THE SOO INDIANS AAA MIDGETS HAS MADE THE MICHIGAN 16 SELECTS. RAY COMPILED 6 GOALS 19 ASSISTS 25 PTS. AND 62 PIM IN HIS ROOKIE SEASON AS A 15 YEAR OLD. GOOD LUCK TO RAY AND THE REST OF THE SELECTS IN ROCHESTER.
MARTY GURNOE ( RIGHT ) A 6'1" 170 LB RIGHT DEFENSEMAN WITH THE SOO INDIANS AAA MIDGETS HAS MADE THE MICHIGAN 17 SELECTS. MARTY COMPILED 5 GOALS 11 ASSISTS 17 PTS. AND 98 PIM IN HIS SECOND YEAR AS A 16 YEAR OLD. GOOD LUCK TO MARTY AND THE REST OF THE SELECTS IN ST. CLOUD.
ANOTHER LOCAL SOO MICHIGAN PRODUCT MILES WILLIAMS (NOT PICTURED) WHO TOILED WITH THE HIGH SCHOOL TEAM ALSO MADE THE 16 SELECTS AND WILL BE JOINING RAY IN ROCHESTER. MILES A 5'11" 180LB GOALTENDER HAD A 2.89 GAA LAST SEASON. GOOD LUCK TO MILES AND THE REST OF THE SELECTS IN ROCHESTER.
