10/15/01 Sault Indians Midget AAA takes pair

SAULT STE. MARIE -- The Soo Kewadin Casino Midget AAA Indians took a pair of games from the Ann Arbor Ice Dogs over the weekend, winning the opener 3-1, and dominating in the second, 9-0.

Derek Stabile scored a pair of goals for the Indians in the opener, while Jeremiah Misiak notched a solo marker.

Jarrett Michaels made 21 saves in the win.

In the second game, Stabile continued his assault on Ann Arbor goaltending, scoring three goals for the hat trick, while Michael McMillan added a pair of goals. Jim Condis, Nick Biondo, Tyler Hampton, and Scott Parse all scored solo goals as well for the Indians. Adam Dekker was in goal for the Indians and made 16 saves for the shutout win.
