DSAT Tec Gas Blender ( Enriched Air )

The DSAT Gas Blender course teaches you how to safely fill cylinders for use with enriched air and mixed gas ( Trimix ). You will also learn what oxygen compatible material is and how to oxygen clean equipment ready for contact with pure oxygen. Gas analysis is also shown as well as the conditions that are required for oxygen to be dangerous. This course is especially useful for dive centres and participants who have access to equipment to fill cylinders. The course is also recommended for people who want the knowledge to be able to and understand the technical requirements behind filling cylinders for use with enriched air.

To participate on this course you need to already be certified as an enriched air diver such as can be gained on the PADI Enriched Air Diver course. You also need to be a minimum of 18 years old.

The course consists of a 1 or 2 days academic session with a final exam at the conclusion which candidates must score 80% or above.
