The Session are very busy at the minute working on the new
tracks for the yet to be titled summer ep which will be recorded at woodbine
studio with the great Johnny rivers who’s cv can be graced with Mick Taylor of
the stones ,Ocean Colour Scene, Paul Weller, and many others. a colossal amount
of work has gone into these fables and the band believes them to be their best
to date.
Of the tracks up for being recorded 4 will def make it on to press and they are
when she smiles, which is a 8 minute epic that will give you goose bumps and
has caused simmering tensions within the band getting it just right , rising
mutiny, which will surprise a few people as it’s the heaviest song the band
have ever collaborated on with its very tongue in cheek lyrics about humanity
which were inspired by the Peugeot 40 man picket lines in Coventry fighting the
multi nationals and the people who play the system with ease on our governments
and its probably the best ever composed by the band , urban fables the live
favourite will also be recorded and a track called stumble and fall which sees
the band revisit the funky vibes of brothers and is very soulful with a great
summer feel ,the band are still trying to write even more songs to sit along
this collection and we may find some other gems waiting in the wings for this
fantastic summer release.
