London 1999 Diary

I got a leather jacket! See, see, this is me jumping up and down with joy and excitement! After only 3 months of searching (note the sarcasm), I finally got one! Now all I need is some black jeans / pants and some silk shirts and I’ll be set! I’ll deal with those when I get home. [argh, shopping in Christmas season means stores are crazy, but at least there’s sales.] Maybe I can convince mom to take me clothes shopping, otherwise I’ll get Nickname or Liz or someone to go with me. Maybe Ian. I’m sure he’ll like it. : )

Saw the changing of the guards today. Pretty boring, actually. But I guess it’s the touristy type thing to do.

After that I went shopping and got my leather coat!!! (Can you tell I’m excited?)

Oh, and I think I saw my first "ugly american" (no offence) sighting today. When we were watching the changing of the gaurds, I was watching from the Queen Victoria Memorial Statue. And I was sitting on the statue, and next to me were these two emn standing on the statue. One of the mounted police officers told them to get down, and they ignored her. So she got off her horse, walked over to the statue, and told them to get down and leave. They did, and some people applauded. And then, looking over a few minutes later, I saw that they had come back! Weren’t standing on the statue, though, but I’m very happy that the policewoman didn’t see them : )

We’re not going to the show tonight (sold out) btu we are going to Spirit of the Dance tomorrow. Maybe I’ll get gothed up for it. I’m so looking forward to our next vampire elysium.

That’s it for now,
Julie
