As luck would have it, we were able to make it all the way back here to Hertford without anymore problems, but there wasn't anything open to have the tire fixed, so I told Jerry he could stay. | |
I threw some blankets and pillows on the couch and we talked till it was almost time for the sun to rise before we each went to sleep at different ends of the trailer I live alone in. | |
The next day Jerry drove me into work and I showed him a place to get another tire for his car. He bought the tire and brought it to my job to put it on and we talked through that day also. | |
Work went along fast with having someone to share the day with, and before we knew it, the time had come for me to close the store down. We came back to my place and talked till the sun had risen before we both retired to our spots again. | |
