Hans Solo

Hans Solo Super Orchestra formed as a group about two years ago in stockholm, Sweden. At that time the group consisted of eight members and didn't have a group name. The name Hans Solo originated from when the group performed at a small show. Back then Hans Solo wasn't as fresh and slamming as they are today so the Hans Solo guitarist Gunnar had to point at each person telling them when to perform there solo. And when he did so he said: "Hans Solo" ("His Solo" in swedish) as a consequense, the crowd thought that the band was called "Hans Solo" and began shouting Hans Solo. The Super Orchestra part came a little bit later when Hans Solo grow larger and became a big-town band. The band now consists of 14 witty-unpredictable intelligent artists. Directing the crew from the back, the backbone of the group, the ultimate funky drummer: Per. On his left side you got his counterpart on the precussion: Marcus "Mackaslaf". On guitar we got the fabulous, genious-minded, prodigy child: Gunnar. Also on guitar we got P.E.T.E.R the most unpredictable person in the whole band: Peter "Pinapple" Pete. As we move on we got the Master of Ceremony, the mic-checka, the one using his words to do battle with: MC Lace. Also on song we got the wildman, the rumble from the jungle, the captain of the mothership: Daniel "Mr Mair". Moving on to the trombone, we go the man contemplating the masterplane, the swiss army knife, the one and only: Marco "the Sparco". On Sax we got the lady-charmer, heart-bomber, the kid that is always telling you arabian proverbs: Olle "shejk ben". The flutieman in Hans Solo, the armyman showing ya'll directions, the russian interpretator: Johan "Jon Dalb". On bass we got the super of the rockers, the tall shot-blocker, the pimp daddy walker: Mr. Axel "Foley" (drumroll). Moving along we get to the pianist. The man of steel, the ladycharmer (part II), My main man... Kai "Kral" Konuk. Spinning the wheels, flexing the steels, the man who keeps it on the reals: Daniel "DJ Dust". To make the crowd moving Hans Solo also have some dancers shaking on stage: Louise & Vanessa. The last addition to this ever-growing band is the smooth daddy of them all, the kid sounding like John Coletrane, the kid who rock the trumpet north to south: Mr. Magnus. Thats about everybody I thing (you always manage to leave out someout, I hope i got everybody). Armed with 14 strong minds Hans Solo rocks any place at any given time (you name it! ). They've rocked "studion" at St:Eriksplan about three time, everytime with a packed house. At many festivals all over Stockholm and at many, many more places.
