37help

Over the eight months or so that 37zone has been open, we've received quite a number of complaints/comments, some of which were justified, others which were plain stupid, and a whole lot of ones that were in German and we couldn't understand.

Of the ones that we COULD understand, some we have fixed, others we're working on fixing, still others that won't get fixed until Nick learns German, and a couple that we'd like to fix, but can't.

We'll go through them one-by-one:

• You guys are useless! It's been ages since 37zone has been updated! What the hell do you think you're doing?
  Actually, we were doing our HSCs, which is basically the really big exams that you do at the end of school before you get paralytically drunk and crash out on a couch and watch Ricki Lake for four months. Now that we've got that over and done with, it's university for us, which has longer holidays, so we'll update more often.
• Sure, that's what they all say.
  Well it's true.
• I still don't believe you. But anyway ... what's with the Java menu on the frontpage? When I load the main menu, there's just a blank gray square that doesn't change color until I click on it or something.
  This is an issue with some browsers (not mentioning any names, except that the CEO of one culprit was recently hit with a cream pie) in their ... uh ... somewhat dubious implementation of Java. In a perfect world there would be no problem, but until then, you'll have to live with that inconvenience.
• How often are you guys going to update 37zone?
  Whenever we can. Bear in mind that whenever we mention the word "weekly" we mean, whenever Nick and Tom can get into the same room as a microphone and a script and do a whole chunk of recordings. We hope to continually update 37mart as we think of more products (any suggestions?), and we will certainly update 37 Challenge and LMDLH weekly.
• 37help isn't very helpful.
  Well duh.
• Just one little niggling thing - what is it with this whole "it's not 37 Zone, it's 37zone"? That's a sort of wanky thing to harp on about.
  "37zone" looks better than "37 Zone", as judged by a panel of middle aged men being serenaded by Cindy Crawford.
• And another niggling thing - how come everything is so violent? It never used to be this way.
  It's because we're angry. Angry young men.
• I want to know how I can make more people visit this fantastic site. I want them to believe in the mystic power of 37.
  Good for you. Wow. You would not believe how many people have e-mailed us with this one. You would be amazed. Yessss, so many people have asked us this one. And the answer's simple. Just go on talkback radio and say "I've got a really cool website you should visit, Howard. Go to www.oocities.org/SouthBeach/9767". Or hire one of those sky-writing planes and write the address in big letters across a clear sky. Or go on Oprah. Or word of mouth is good.
• Do you guys have a 'cool links' page? I love cool links.
  Due to popular demand, and a great deal of guilt to our friends, we now have A COOL LINKS PAGE! (da dada DAAAH!) We were actually working on some sort of 'search engine' looking thing, but gave up due to apathy. What a wonderful thing is apathy! I just ... ahh, doesn't matter. The point is, it's up.
• Uh ... I had another question, but I forgot.
  I remember ... I remember when there were no questions.
• There were always questions. To exchange one set for another is no great matter.
