This page was made to honor the beautiful, proud, resilient and loving people of Haiti
- and to memorialize those who were swept away in Gonaives.
Writing about it is difficult. Even standing in Gonaives I found myself shutting off,
unable or unwilling to cope with the reality of what had happened.
Words can not do it justice; Pictures only a little. Let's be honest with ourselves.
Real people, really died here. Please help me remember. They deserve it.
These photos were taken two months after the Hurricane, on the last day of November 2004.
