Where I used to work...

Well... I used to work at the United Nations.  Did a two year stint as a career break from tax.  Was is interesting?  Yes.  Was it a great job? Well... internal politics were at scales I haven't ever encountered before.  Try world scale!  Apart from that - the people were great, and that made it all the more enjoyable.

Anyway.  This is part of my website is a legacy area.  I don't normally update my site, but this site is definitely not going to be updated.  I have however, received a request from ex-colleagues not to take this area down, and so long as I have the space on this site (which I do..) I won't.  Too many memories, perhaps?  Perhaps.

Anyway.  I do invite to you just have a wander round.  This is what you will find here -

My other UNCC colleagues - In all my various additions to the site, I never got round to including some of these people in the site.  Which is a shame as they too made the UNCC experience an enriching experience...

My farewell note - letting everyone know I was moving again.  Some thought I was leaving because I was unhappy with my job, but this was never the intention.  Shows I really should read things before sending them out!  I loved working with my colleagues, and with my Panel.  Just some of the politics  - I could have done without!

Scenes from my farewell - It is touching when people get together to throw a farewell party for you.  I had two from the VVSB, and one from my LSB colleagues.  Then there was the lunch from the IT folks, and the various lunches with various individuals.  So sad, but I move on.  C'est la vie!
