Song Playing: Keeper of the Stars! Hi--I'm Spaz! Mommy named me that because I was really a crazy kitten but I have chilled out with age. Mommy talked Daddy into letting her have me when they came to visit the house I was born in at the end of September,1993. Daddy didn't really want a cat because he didn't like us much but lucky for me he couldn't resist Mommy! They picked me out of several other kittens because they thought I was the cutest. We got in the car and rode to my new house. I didn't like riding in the car and I held on to Mommy with my claws the hole way there! When we got to my new house the first thing Mommy did was give me a bath. I think I was a bit stinky from being in a cage with all my sisters and brother. I survived the bath but I licked myself afterward for hours until I was dry. Here is a picture of me after my first bath! Here is a picture of me hanging out with Mommy while she was cleaning the kitchen--she couldn't resist taking a picture of me! One of my favorite things to do is play fetch with what Mommy calls a milk ring. You know, that ring that comes off a milk jug! I will play as long as I can get someone to keep throwing it for me! Usually the people get tired before I do! Mommy doesn't have a picture of me doing this yet but she says she will get one soon. Let me introduce my brother "Tribble". I didn't like him when Mommy first got him but now we are best buds. He was born in the middle of October,1996-In a trailer in Florida. His kitty Mommy was a stray that my Mommy noticed was pregnant. Mommy started feeding her. Tribble and 3 other kittens were born in the house under a hutch. When the kittens were born only one of them had a tail so we knew who the Daddy was. He was a Minx mix breed that hung around alot. Tribble looks just like him and has no tail. The kids that lived in the house wouldn't leave the kittens alone so their Mommy took them under the trailer. We didn't see them for a long time! Then finally one day the kittens all came out and Mommy decided she had to keep Tribble! Daddy said, "Absolutely NOT!" but as you can see Mommy got her way. It took Mommy a long time to think of a name for him until one day he was sleeping all curled up in a little fuzzy ball and she knew it had to be Tribble from the classic Star Trek show,"The Trouble With Tribbles". Here he is as a baby! Tribble is now almost 2 years old and he gets into everything. He is always knocking stuff off of tables and breaking things. One day Mommy heard a crash in her bedroom and went to see what he had done this time. She walked into the bedroom yelling ,"What are you doing?"and all she could see was Tribble stick his head under the bed with his butt hanging out in plain site. She couldn't punish him because she was laughing to hard!! Here is a picture of him in one of his favorite places to snooze! Tribble is a big cat he weighs around 20 pounds or more! He has this bad habbit of licking me (making me think he is being nice) and then he decides he wants to play and gets on top of me and attacks! I know that all I have to do is run and find someplace high to jump up and get away. I know he is too fat to follow me!! He will just sit there and stare at me meowing at me to come back down but I know better! UPDATE! I am soooo disturbed to introduce you to the newest pain in my neck.... For some unknown reason to me Mom decided at Christmas that she was getting a new kid...without even asking Tribble and I what we thought of it she went and picked up this obnoxious, loud Pomeranian and brought it home and named her "Shadow". I don't understand what Mom see's in her..she is constantly under Mom's feet, following her everywhere she goes! Here is a recent pic of this problem child of ours... Mom loves her and takes her bye bye all the time. She even managed to take over my spot in the bed. Mom just found out we have a gator in our lake so she's not allowed to go out unless she is on a leash, which she hates by the way! HaHa! Stop back soon I'm sure Mom will be updating!
