Stratford

Shakespeare's Birthplace The birthplace of Sir Williams Shakespeare on Henley Street. This house has been called the "most honoured monument of the world's greatest genius."
This is part of the Nash House gardens. The house ajoins another called the New Place, where Shakespeare died, and it belonged to Shakespeare's grand-daughter's husband, Thomas Nash. It now contains a museum, primarly composed of furniture from Shakespeare's time. Nash House Gardens
Hall's Croft Gardens When Shakespeare made his will, he seems to have placed his trust chiefly in the competence and goodwill of his daughter Susanna and her husband Dr. John Hall. This photos is of the garden in the property called Hall's Croft.
Anne Hathaway's cottage at Shottery, a mile from Stratford, is where she was born in 1556, and lived until her marriage to William Shakespeare in 1582. The cottage was not far from Moonraker House, a very pleasant Bed and Breakfast which I stayed in for a night. Anne Hathaway's Cottage
