The #hepatitis on superchat is a support channel for us heppers and hepper helpers. We are more family to each other more then just friends. We live, love and laugh together as well as cry. Through good times as well as bad times. We discuss just about everything. We have lots of fun too it's not always serious but if there's a need for support or info there is always someone there to help.

How to connect if you want to connect to irc to chat with us, play a few wav's goof off with ASCII texts and popups. Or if you need a shoulder to cry on we are there.
Program Setup Info
What you need to do is install mIRC, After you click on the exe it will install . it really does it all by itself just click yes to everything.When installed. Where it says servers find Superchat Random Server that's what you connect to, Under that it will be a long narrow button saying connect to server. that's what you click when you wanna chat. But first you need to full out the other areas.
1)Fill in email address, Fill in Nick, Fill in alter nick
2)On the left side of the screen there will be a Options tree at the top Look for optionscheck Connect at startupcheck POPUP connect dialog on startupcheck Reconnect on disconnectioncheck move to top of list on connectcheck retry 99 tinesdelay 60 secondsdefault port should already be there it will be 66673) Go back to the left click Local info On connect check local host
Lookup method check server4) Next go back to the left and click on ident
there will be a check box at the top of that one the saysEnable Ident Server check thatNext is User ID, Type in your user nameNext will be system Unix will already be thereand port also 113last check box click on Enable only when connectingthen click ok and all you settings will be savedAll you have to do is connect now. close the program and reopen it
once connected channel window will popupwhere is has all the channel names above where you type... Type hepatitis and click add it will be added to the list and be hilighted on the right are some buttons click Joinand your there.
If you have ant questions or problems email me my email is always open and I'll help you.Now your ready to connect, go back to irc servers ( first page where you typed your nick name and your email address) click on the arrow that is in the top box that says the server name you will get drop down menu find......Superchat : US, NJ, NewBrunswick, and click connect to IRC server
When you connect, your channel folder will drop down, type #hepatitis click add and then join. and your there. If no one is there just hang out a while and wait until someone shows up be patient someone will be soon its a busy channel.

I have now added a JAVA based IRC Chat application which will allow you to get onto #hepatitis, #MyPlace, #Recoverychat and #Hepsingles Channels directly from this web page. You can still use mIRC below, but for those who do not have it, or if you are on a system which doesn't support it, this is the answer for you. Thanks Car, for the applet.....

By popular demand I added a hepsingles chat room to our Network, where single heppers can meet and greet each other. It's somethimes hard to meet and date when you have hep, and no one really understands just what it is and you can't catch it by being in the same room. kissing, holding hands and MHO sex . I seem to be having trouble connecting with the applet, but I don't know it could be script blocking from Norton AV program. I had it checked out and Administration says its working so try.
