I am now living in Australia.
,
It is a beautiful country, the people are nice and friendly.
I used to live in Melbourne, Victoria
for a while and I enjoyed my stay in Melbourne. Now I am living
in Canberra. Canberra is the capital of Australia, and we all call it the
ACT. (Australian Capital Territory). The Heart of Australia is Parliament
House, which is located in Canberra.
The Commonwealth of Australia was formed by the Constitution Act, on
9 July 1900.
Her name is ANITA LOUISE GREEN. We have been going out with each other for a while now. she is kind and very considerate.
She helps me with my Sprint training and always gives me
heaps of support. I would consider her as my assistant coach.
Guess what, I am a married man now.
We got married on 10 of January 1998. The Our best man at the wedding, Shane is siting next to myself and Anita, and the Lady next to Anita is Susan Dale who was our Matron of Honor at our wedding.
In This picture Bill Henness and the Civil Celebrant are standing next to us.
The young lady with the wedding party in this picture is Kristin Green ( The Brides Cousin )
This picture was taken prior to the wedding ceremony.
The Groom thanking all the guests.
We had two Ceremonies, that is an Australian Ceremony and a Sri Lanken Ceremony on the same day. We all had a great day, I can proudly say I will never forget that day, 50 years from now when we have our 50 Th. wedding Anniversary.
The lady Next to Groom in this picture is Groom's wondeful mother who came all the way from Sri lanka for this special occasion.
We went to Sri lanka and spend a month or so there and we also had a another wedding reception there for family and friends who could not come to our actual wedding in Australia. So we had 3 wedding receptions.
His name is socks and ginger in color, He goes psycho at certain times of the day. (well
he runs around the house and attacks and pounces at every one and every
thing at certain times of the day
He has a particular time table. Well his wake up time is 4.00 AM in
the morning and sleep time is 7.00 PM, and he must sleep on the couch and
if you are sitting in his spot he gives this stare at you like saying BUGGER
OFF IDIOT THIS IS MY SLEEP TIME, I AM NOT GOING TO TELL YOU AGAIN.
When he gets up that is 4.00 am in our time and 7.00 am in cat time, what he usually does is jumps on every living sleeping sole in the house and makes sure every one is awake and active and ready to play with him at his command
Recently we went around Australia, on an all around trip. . What is really special about it is about 20 KM before TOOWOOMBA in Queensland a little kitten walked in to the highway. I had to pick him up and get him in to the car so he would not get run over. Any way we went around every house in a 10 Km area to find its owner and could not ,(we think the kitten has been dumped ) so we decided to keep him with us, so the cat also got to travel around Australia and now he is with us back home and doing very well. By the way we called him Lucky.
What is really funny is Lucky does not realise he is a cat. not a Monkey, He seems to climb trees but does not seem to know how to get down, when he is on top of the tree all he can do is "MEOW" .That means that someone else has to climb the tree and rescue him from the tree.

On the scale of a world map, SRI LANKA previously known as CEYLON appears to hang like a tiny teardrop over the Indian Ocean. In reality though, this tropical isle is certainly no drop in the ocean. From north to south it has a maximum length of 435 km (270 miles) and at its widest point it measures 225 km (140 miles), giving it a land area of 65,600 sq.km (25,300 sq.miles).
At tropical beach level the thermometer soars into the mid 80's F. (29 C) but, within four hours' journey by road or rail, lies the breathtaking where the temperature drops to the 50's F (10 C). As quickly as the climate changes, so does the dramatic scenery. An equally short journey will bring you to the ruined cities of Sri Lanka's ancient civilization. On these journeys, you can see palm fringed beaches, a wealth of wildlife, exotic flora, plains and highlands, rivers, lakes and waterfalls These are true beauties of Sri Lanka. - a calm and serene countryside matched by an enticingly simpleway of life.
