MY LIFE - SEPTEMBER

Still no new word on what might happen with my pending transfer. I think I'm starting to get a little pissed off right now, and it's not just at the district manager, whose glances at me during the day told me he's well aware of the situation, but also at Tom and Lenny as well. Tom is getting a little bold now, telling me he won't approve a transfer unless we get someone who can replace me and then suggesting that maybe one of the techs over there might want to transfer to my store.

I can't believe these assholes. Tom doesn't really need the help that badly at night. He's just pissing and moaning because he might have to do all the work. I think Steve is also getting upset and I'm not going to sit around and watch these guys negotiate over all this bullshit. I will get the union involved if needed to get this resolved, but I don't want to do that. Let's just get this done and over with. Things will work themself out.

I've been slowly working on various aspects of this site, trying to get things updated and keep them updated so that I don't have to around and do all this everytime I make a slight change or do something else. It's one thing to change one part of the page, but it's a totally different story when you neglect to do that for a long time, then suddenly find yourself having to make several updates at once. That's what's happened with my updating the My Life archives over the last several months. Format changes, style changes, and just about anything else that could have changed has changed, making it an adventure to try and get this part updated.

I'm almost done with March 1999, but I still have a long way to go. I also have to look back at the entries for 1998 as there have been some slight changes since I last updated those pages, so it just keeps on going on. I'm hoping to have that done by the end of the year, but it all depends on what I get to and what I don't get to. There's still a lot to go, so we'll see what happens there.

One other project that I'd like to start within the next month is an interesting one for me to try. Basically, I'll make a page devoted to the youngest kitten in our house, Simba, with pictures. But it'll have a strange twist to it. I'll make it seem like it's from his point of view as he's grown up in the pictures. I think it'll have some pretty funny moments in it since the kitten is a very active kitten who doesn't care who he's attacking or who's attacking him.

I'm also going to begin writing up more reviews of music albums since that part of the site is pretty lethargic at this point in time. I have a couple of new CD's that I could review, but I just haven't gotten around to doing that as of yet. LL Cool J and De La Soul are the ones likely to be reviewed first at this point, unless I change my mind, which is not totally out of the question.

No promises on any of that though. We'll just see what happens with my various situations at this point in time.

Tribe Watch 2000

Cleveland Indians, 4
Boston Red Sox, 7

Summary

Charles Nagy continued to try and find himself tonight after missing most of the season due to an elbow injury, but was rusty and couldn't get command of his pitches, giving up 6 runs in less than four innings of work. The Tribe's offense was held in check for most of the game, showing signs of life at times, but failing to take advantage of key opportunities when presented.
