What a headache tonight turned out to be. I don't remember a night as strange or as aggravating as tonight was, and I don't intend on trying either. It basically started when I found out that I would be having another fill-in pharmacist tonight. Problem? It's not on the schedule nor did Tom bother to tell anyone, aside from Mike. He didn't tell me, he didn't tell Lenny, and he didn't tell Debbie either. What makes it worse? She was of foreign descent. I don't have a problem with that aside from the fact that she was hard to understand and she was on the slow side.
The really big headache occurred at 9:30pm, when Shoe was trying to do a money order. It didn't work. There was some sort of problem and the money order wouldn't work, telling us that the printer was not loaded with the money order sheets. Well, the damn thing was full of them and Mike and I could not do anything to get out of the transaction at first or to get it to go through. We couldn't do anything simply because many of the functions that could've helped required a PIN number, which Mike didn't have. Lenny didn't write it down anywhere either, so we were screwed over big time in that regard.
We finally managed to end the transaction at around 10pm, when we were supposed to leave. Neither register had been counted out and completed, so I did one register while Mike did the other. It was a good thing that I knew how to do it too. I may have to do it more in the future. Anyway, we finally got around there and now I get to explain to Lenny tomorrow morning what the hell happened and to make sure we managed to fix the problem. We gave the person their money back and Mike voided the transaction, but we want to make sure.
It's going to be a long day tomorrow. A very long day.
A few other notes of interest:
We had a line of storms go through, nearly knocking out power and producing possible tornadoes for the third week in a row. Cleveland has 40,000 people without power while Akron has nearly 70,000. It may be Sunday before everyone's power is restored....I've continued the downsizing of the main page in this site, removing a couple more sections and simplifying certain layouts. I also stuck horizontal lines between each section and rewrote "Just What "is" the Point" to try and keep things fresh. Next up will be the beginning works on a couple new pages in this site over the weekend....Sorry this is short, but my head is pounding right now from the day.

Last Game
Cincinnati, 3
Cleveland, 2
Summary
No summary on the game since I missed it. It was apparently a pitcher's game tonight. Ron Villone goes for Cincinnati tomorrow against Tom Candiotti.
Game Notes
Cincinnati is the hottest team in baseball for the second straight time as they play the Indians. Last time, Cincinnati was swept....The Indians are playing .500 ball right and the top of the order has been struggling a bit. The top three batters only had four hits during the series with Minnesota.
