Yes, this is the information page. I will give you as much information as I can think of. Lets see, Pokemon was originally a japanese gameboy game in about 1995 or 1996, I believe. It was a huge hit and took Japan by storm, selling tons of copies, creating the television series, virtual keychain pets, dolls, food, you name it. The japanese love to really go overboard with merchandise, I love it, I wish they did it in Canada too:=(. Now is the Pokemon takeover of North America, as they are calling it...
They have started with the television series. I have no idea how good it has done, but I watch it every day, and when I'm not watching it, I'm thinking about watching it later that day to cheer me up after a crap day of school. I love the way they talk by saying their names, hehe. Anyway, I am getting the game via my videostore (I can order video games and movies through the same place the store gets theirs, and I can get it on wholesale price!!! Woo Hoo). I really can't wait to get it, although, when your reading this, I probably do have it and I'm enjoying it thoroughly!
The Game
: The game is a role-play style experience. Basiclly, you take the role of a pokemon trainer, you start out in a town. Your objective, get out into the world, get as many pokemon and as many different types as possible, meanwhile, fighting other pokemon trainers in a Pokemon vs Pokemon duel. I think every town has a "Gym", which is basicly, a boss stage. That is where there will be a very hard Pokemon, along with it trainer. If you defeat the pokemon, you get badges. The outcome of long hours and days and weeks and months and years of this game is that you will become a "Master Pokemon Trainer", you have all 150 of the Pokemon and have every badge. Sounds like fun? It is, go buy it and make this boy happy!
