The Last Sunrise

Today I think will be
The last sunrise that I'll ever see
For I'm heading down
To the city

When I'm there
I'm there for days or weeks at a time
Tubes and needles are something
That I really despise

But this time I think
I won't be coming back
For my condition you see
Has gotten really bad

I wanted to write this
Before I go
To say goodbye to those
That I've come to love and know

And to that special someone
You know who you are
I wanted to say
I've never loved anyone else so
