April 1998
Last April 7, 1998, I went to Labo, Camarines Norte to follow up and check
the work there. With some companions from Lipa, we left at about 10 AM and
arrived in Labo at about 5 PM. Later in the evening of the same day, we conducted
a Bible study at the residence of Jonathan and there were about 16 who attended.
Some among them professed faith in Christ. Praise God for their acceptance of
Christ and His words. The following day, April 8, 1998, at 3 pm, we conducted a
seminar for the workers and members there. At about 5 pm, I baptized 2 new converts ,
Sister Ines and Elena. By 7 pm, we started our evangelistic film crusade at Canapawan Plaza.
It was attended by about 150 persons and about 10 made professions of faith.
Praise God for the pastor's family fellowship which was held at Candelaria Quezon last April 9-10,
1998. It was a nice time of meeting and fellowshipping with the fellow pastors and missionaries
mostly from Manila. About 30 attended including the wives.
Praise God for the evangelistic film crusade we conducted at Seaman's Village last April 15, 1998.
Just a few attended, and mostly children. But we are thankful to God because we were allowed to
conduct a crusade there.
Praise God for the crusade we conducted at Sabang, Lipa City last April 24, 1998 at the compound
of Bro. Palma. There were about 65 who attended, many of them are children.
Praise God for the crusade we conducted last April 25, near the Base View village, at Makalat, Lipa City. Bro. Loni was the speaker.
Praise God we were allowed to conduct again an evangelistic film crusade inside the Seaman's Village last Sunday evening, April 26, 1998
Not so many attended, there were about 30. At least we are already known by the village president and by some people there. We were also able to inform other childfren to attend our Bible classes for children every Sunday 4 pm. Afterwards, at about 9 pm, same night, we conducted a film showing at the Wee Eng compound. Last Sunday, our activity ended at about 11pm.
Praise God for He provided us through Bethel MBC a megaphone and a trumpet speaker.
Pray for our missions in Lipa City, Labo, and Cavite. Pray that the members will grow strong spiritually.
Pray for Mr. Leynes, our contact at Seaman's village, that he will be willing to have a Bible study with us.
Pray that we will be able to follow up the contacts who watched the film and heard us during our evangelistic film showings.
