   Edwards.
   Born 1803, Coon/Coan Dysart Parish, Co. Kilkenny, Ire., died
   9 Oct 1900, White Rock, Mich., USA. In 1831 in Beckwith Twp.,
   Lanark Co., Ont., she married JAMES FRANCIS EDWARDS,
   born 1808, Co. Kilkenny, Ire., died 7 Feb 1895, Warwick Twp.,
   Lambton Co., Ont. (s/o Francis Edwards and  Margaret Kerfoot).
   Anne buried Sandbeach Cemetery, White Rock, Mich.
   James buried St. James Cemetery, Brooke Twp., Ont.
   They had 12 children. Margaret, Elizabeth, Francis, Jane, John,
   Thomas, James, Matilda, William, Andrew, George and Mary.

1.  MARGARET EDWARDS:  Born 10 Nov 1830, baptized 13 Nov
    1830  Beckwith Twp., Lanark Co., Ont.

     It is believed she died in infancy, as she does not show up on any
     Census returns and also the fact she was baptized 3 days after
     birth.

2.  ELIZABETH EDWARDS:  Born 29 Jan 1832, Beckwith Twp.,
     Lanark Co., Ont. She married John Jones.
     They had at least 1 child. Margaret.

     This family is said to have lived and died in Warwick Twp.,
     Lambton Co., Ont., but I have not been able to find any trace of
     them.

            (1)  MARGARET JONES:  Born 1855. She married J. O'Neil.

3.  FRANCIS EDWARDS:  Born 29 Mar 1833, Beckwith Twp., Lanark
     Co., Ont., died 12 Feb 1910, Mich. On the 25 Jan 1858, he
     married Margaret Kuen, born 29 Dec 1834, died 29 Jan 1911.
     Both buried Bay City, Mich.
     They had 6 children. Jeremiah, Anne, Elizabeth, Violet, Silas and
     Francis.

     The 1900 Michigan Census states that Margaret had 10 children,
     3 that were still living.

            (1)  JEREMIAH EDWARDS: Born 9 Oct 1860, Warwick
                   Twp., Ont.,   died 25 Feb 1931, Detroit, Mich. In 1883,
                   he married Mary Henrietta Wynn, born 22 May 1865,
                   died 14 May 1908. (d/o John Winn/Wynn and Eliza
                   Newman).
                   Both buried Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach, Mich.
                   They had 6 children. Arthur, Lucinda, Elmer, Oneta,
                   Lottie and Martha.

                   Jeremiah re-married Lottie ??.                    

            (2)  ANNE JANE EDWARDS: Born 1863, died 13 Oct 1878. 

            (3)  ELIZABETH EDWARDS: Born 1865. She married
                  George Tarry.

            (4)  VIOLET EDWARDS:  Born 13 Jan 1870, Kerwood, Ont.,
                  died 27 Sep 1962. On the 18 Oct 1886, she married
                  George Emerick  born 18 Jul 1863, died Nov 1951.
                  Both buried Lakeview Cemetery, Port Hope, Mich.
                  They had 13 children. Edwin, Stanley, Lillian, Myrtle,
                  Manley,  Ida, Rose, Roland, Leonard, Lester and 3
                  others.

            (5)  SILAS EDWARDS:  Born 6 Apr 1871, Kerwood, Ont.,
                  died 1 Jan 1933. In 1890, he married Annie Jane Gillard,
                  born 15 Feb 1873  died 7 Jul 1954.
                  Both buried Oak Ridge Cemetery, Bay City, Mich.
                  They had 4 children. Dora, Sarah, Marguerite and Frank.

            (6)  FRANCIS EDWARDS:  Born 1875, died 3 Oct 1892.
                   Buried Bay City, Mich.

4.  JANE EDWARDS: Born 1835, Warwick Twp., Ont. She married
     Nobel Howden.
     They had at least 1 child. David.

5.  JOHN EDWARDS: Born 1 Apr 1836, Warwick Twp., Ont., died
     12 Sep 1928, Huron Co., Mich. On the 24 Jul 1857, he married
     Eliza Walton,  born 17 Sep 1838, died 21 Apr 1898. (d/o Henry
     Walton and Anna  McNeice).
     They had at least 6 children. James, Andrew, Henry, Thomas,
     Rosella  and a  Dau.

            (1)  JAMES EDWARDS:  Born 1857.

            (2)  ANDREW "GEORGE" EDWARDS: Born 21 Jul 1861,
                  Warwick  Twp.,   Ont., died 10 Dec 1927. On the
                  10 May 1886, he married Catherine Doris Klug, born
                  1865, died 19 May 1900. 
                  They had 6 children. Lilly, Rose, Daisy, Violet, Harry
                  and Catherine.

            (3)  HENRY EDWARDS: Born 1866. Married Susan ?, born
                  May 1878.
                  They had at least 1 child. Clara.

                  In 1910 lived in Huron Co., Mich. In 1928, lived in
                  Shellbrook,  Sask.

            (4)  THOMAS EDWARDS: Born Feb 1870.

            (5)  ROSELLA EDWARDS:  Born Jun 1882. On the 15 Oct
                  1905, she  married Charles Mosher, born 20 Jan 1877,
                  died 2 Sep 1961.
                  Charles buried Downing Cemetery, Deckerville, Mich.
                  They had 4 children. John, Walton, Roy and Clarence.

            (6)  DAUGHTER EDWARDS:  She married Henry Meno.
                   In 1928, lived in Alpena, Mich.

6.  THOMAS EDWARDS: Born 2 Jun 1838, Warwick Twp., Ont.,
     died 17 Feb 1905, Huron Co., Mich. On the 22 Jun 1860, he
     married Rachel Walton, born 17 Feb 1842, died 29 Aug 1905.
     (d/o Henry Walton and Anna  McNeice).
     Both buried Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach, Mich.
     They had 11 children. William, Robert, Anna, Jane, John, James, 
     Margaret, Rebecca, Charlotte, Mary and Thomas.

     Thomas moved to White Rock, Mich., in 1871 and filed to become
     a US Citizen 30 Apr 1886.

            (1)  WILLIAM HENRY EDWARDS:  Born 8 Jul 1861, died
                  1861, Warwick Twp., Ont.

            (2)  ROBERT EDWARDS: Born 19 Feb 1863, Watford, Ont.,
                  died 1 Apr 1933. On the 13 Mar 1890, he married Cella
                  Rosetta Harris, born 3 Apr 1870, died 15 Nov 1953.
                  Both buried Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach, Mich.
                  They had 4 children. Harold, Allen, Leslie and David.

                  Robert filed for US Citizenship 15 Jul 1891.

            (3)  ANNA EDWARDS: Born 2 Jan 1865, Watford, Ont., died
                  1925.  She married Myron Holder.
                  They had 3 children. Mable, Hattie and Elmer.

            (4)  JANE EDWARDS: Born 23 Jan 1867, Watford, Ont.,
                  died 27 Apr 1916. In 1888, she married William McNeice.
                  They had 6 children. Oliver, Almira, Viola. Mary, Allen
                  and Walton.

            (5)  JOHN HENRY EDWARDS: Born 29 Nov 1868, Kerwood,
                  Ont., died 29 Sep 1960. In 1891, he married Ida B. Niles,
                  born Sep 1870,  died 1954.
                  Both buried Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach, Mich.
                  They had 6 children. John, Floyd, Olive, Bessie, Clara
                  and Melvin.

            (6)  JAMES EDWARDS: Born 28 Oct 1870, Watford, Ont.,
                  died 3 Feb 1933, Lynden, Washington. In 1902 he
                  married Pearl Alexander.
                  They had 6 children. Mayme, Wilfred, Alvin, Harrison,
                  James and William.

            (7)  MARGARET EDWARDS: Born 1 Dec 1872, Huron Co.,
                  Mich., died 1905. In 1893, she married William Whaling
                  or Whalen.
                  They had 1 child Hazel.

                  In 1908, William married Margaret's sister Mary Edwards.

            (8)  REBECCA EDWARDS:  Born 22 Oct 1874, died 1923.

            (9)  CHARLOTTE EDWARDS: Born 7 Dec 1876, died 26 Dec
                  1961. On the 24 Feb 1987, she married William
                  Thompson.
                  Both buried Forestville, Mich.
                  They had 5 children. John, Ralph, Gertrude, Guy and
                  Grace.

          (10)  MARY LOUISE EDWARDS: Born 18 Aug 1879, died
                  9 Apr 1978. In 1908, she married William Whaling or
                  Whalen.
                  They had 6 children. Lily, Gladys, James, Mary, Amy
                  and Woodron.

                  William's 1st wife was Mary's sister Margaret Edwards.

           (11)  THOMAS WILLIAM EDWARDS: Born 15 Jul 1881, died
                   16 Jul 1918. In 1917 he married Elizabeth Wingert.

7.  JAMES EDWARDS: Born 6 Aug 1840, Warwick Twp., Ont., died
     ??.  On the 16 Sep 1868, he married Jemima Baker, born 9 Jan
     1851, died ?. (d/o Jeremiah Baker and Hannah Campbell).
     Both buried ??
     They had 7 children. Jeremiah, Matilda, David, Mary, James,
     Emma and Norman.

            (1)  JEREMIAH EDWARDS: Born 1870 Warwick Twp., Ont.
                   Buried Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, London, Ont. (??). 

            (2)  MATILDA EDWARDS: Born 10 Dec 1871, Adelaide
                  Twp., Middlesex Co., Ont., died 12 Mar 1950. On the
                  25 Dec 1889, she married Albert Wellington Freer, born
                  23 Nov 1867, died 19 Feb 1950. (s/o Henry Freer and
                  Mary Foster).
                  Both buried Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia, Ont. 
                  They had 8 children. Gordon, Arthur, Lillian, Arena, Cecil,
                  Albert, Myrtle and Emma.

                  Changed from the Church of England to the Mormon Faith.

            (3)  DAVID EDWARDS:  Born 1876, Adelaide Twp., Ont. He
                  married Laurie Lamoine.
                  They had 1 child. William.

            (4)  MARY EDWARDS: Born 1878, Adelaide Twp., Ont.,
                  died 1965. On the 6 Jun 1894, she married Thomas
                  Saunders "Bud"  Lucas, born 1873, died 1942.
                  (s/o James Lucas and Frances Oakes).
                  Both buried London, Ont.
                  They had 4 children. Mable, Nellie, Gladys and Isabelle.

                  Thomas was a member of the London, Ont., Police Force
                  and when he retired he had reached the rank of Inspector.

            (5)  JAMES ALBERT EDWARDS: Born 1881, Adelaide Twp.,
                  Ont.
                  In 1905 he was unmarried and a machinist in London,
                  Ont. 

            (6)  EMMA EDWARDS: Born 1888, Adelaide Twp., Middlesex
                  Co., Ont.

            (7)  NORMAN EDWARDS: Born 1895, Adelaide Twp., Ont.

8.  MATILDA EDWARDS: Born 1842, died 1935. On the 15 Apr 1868,
     she married Robert Lucas, born 1845, died 1936. (s/o John Lucas
     and Ellen Saunders).
     Both buried St. James Cemetery, Brooke Twp., Ont.
     They had 5 children. Selena, Georgina, MaryAnn, Robert and
     David.

      (Check Robert Lucas for this family).

9.  WILLIAM EDWARDS:  Born 20 Aug 1844, died 25 Dec 1902. He
     married Catherine McNeil.

     One source says William died 7 May 1920 in Alberta, Canada.

      No data. One source states they lived in Warwick Twp., another
      that they lived in Michigan, another they lived in Alberta Canada.

10.  ANDREW EDWARDS: Born in 1847. He married Mary McKinley.
      (d/o John McKinley and Elizabeth Carrol).

      The 1906 Lambton Biographical Record Page 820, states they
      lived in Sault Ste Marie.  (Ont., or Michigan ?).

11.  GEORGE EDWARDS: Born 1848, Warwick Twp., Ont. In 1869,
       he married Catherine McKinley, born 1847, died 8 Sep 1899,
       Huron Co., Mich. (d/o John McKinley and Elizabeth Carrol).
       They had 7 children. William, Nellie, George, Obbie, Mary, Annie
       and Richard.

            (1)  WILLIAM JOHN EDWARDS:  Born Aug 1872, Warwick
                  Twp., Ont.

            (2)  NELLIE EDWARDS: Born 28 Jun 1874, Warwick Twp.,
                  died 30 Apr 1946. She married Francis Peck.
                  Nellie buried Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach, Mich.
                  They had 1 child. Frank.

                  Nellie re-married Henry Will.

            (3)  GEORGE EDWARDS:  Born 1881, Warwick Twp., Ont.
                  On the 15 Apr 1903, in Bad Axe, Mich., he married Lucy
                  Ann Gallarno,  born 1887.
                  They had at least 6 children. Walter, William, Charles,
                  Anna, Dorothy and Alma.

                  In 1918, they moved from Redman, Mich., to Henderson,
                  Kentucky.

                  died 25 May 1900, Huron Co., Mich.

            (5)  MARY EDWARDS: Born Feb 1886, Huron Co., Mich.
                  She married Mr. Sheffield.

12.  MARY ANN EDWARDS:  Born 2 Dec 1850, Warwick Twp., Ont.,
       died 5 Nov 1901, Huron Co., Mich. In 1867, she married John
       Haggerty, born 1842, Ireland, died 3 Nov 1906. (s/o William
       Haggerty and Mary Rueshel/Russell).
       They had 11 children. Ellen, William, Anne, John, Matilda, Sarah,
       Mary, James, Abraham, Daniel and Robert.

       1901 Michigan Census state, they had 12 children, 10 were still
       living.
       One source states they went to Michigan in 1871 another in
       1875.

            (1)  ELLEN HAGGERTY:  Born 17 Apr 1868, Warwick Twp.,
                  Ont., died 7 Jun 1940, Harbor Beach, Mich. On the
                  15 May 1888, she married Edmund George Cowper,
                  born 11 Mar 1852,   Cleveland, Ohio, died 10 Mar 1904,
                  Sherman Twp., Huron Co., Mich. (s/o Thomas Edmond
                  Cowper and Ora Tura Brewer).
                  They had 9 children. George, Ellen, Edmund, Thomas,
                  Matilda, Myrtle, Charles, Elvia and Sarah.

            (2)  WILLIAM HAGGERTY: Born 10 Sep 1869, Glenco, Ont.,
                  died 20 May 1951. He married Mary Woodruff.
                  William buried Port Hope, Mich.
                  They had 2 children. Clara and Bessie.

                  William re-married around 1903 to Mary Elizabeth
                  McCollough, born 8 Mar 1873, died 13 Jan 1938.
                  They had 3 children. Marguerite, Daughter and Zula.

                  died 22 Jun 1943. On the 26 Nov 1892, she married
                  William Hunter,  born 16 Dec 1867, died 16 Jun 1946.
                  Both buried Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach, Mich.
                  They had 3 children. Ali, Otis and Raymond.

                  10 Sep 1943, Settler, Alberta. He married Mary Ann
                  Barbour/Barbeau, born 1884, died 17 Oct 1968.
                  Both buried Dorenlee, Alta.
                  They had 14 children. Lorene, George, John, Wilford,
                  Wilfred, James, Ervin, Florence, Helen, Leona, Delmar,
                  Pearl, Arthur and Albert.

                  Another case of when did parents go to Michigan?  If
                  in 1871, then John born Huron, if in 1875, then he was
                  born in Glencoe, Ont.

                  In 1913, they left Michigan and settled on a farm near
                  Dorenlee, Alberta.

                  In 1940 John applied for his Canadian Citizenship.

            (5)  MATILDA HAGGERTY: Born 31 Oct 1874, died 30 Dec
                  1960. She married George Basler, born 1869, died
                  14 Jul 1927.
                  Both buried Port Sanilac, Mich.
                  They had 8 children. Katherine, Eunice, Midlred, Eva,
                  Marie, George, Helen and Jane.

            (6)  SARAH JANE HAGGERTY: Born 30 Nov 1876, died
                  26 Mar 1970. She married William Pacholke, born
                  25 Oct 1872, died 18 Feb 1954.
                  Both buried Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach, Mich.
                  They had 5 children. Florence, Arthur, Esther, William
                  and Carl.

            (7)  MARY ELIZABETH HAGGERTY: Born 4 Mar 1878, died
                  5 Mar 1878 Sherman Twp., Huron Co., Mich.

            (8)  JAMES HAGGERTY:  Born 1 Apr 1880, died 9 May
                  1960. In 1905, he married Matilda (Dore) Meno, born
                  26 Aug 1879, died 5 Jul 1961. (d/o Edwin Dore and
                  Barbara ?).
                  Both buried Memphis, Mich.
                  They had 1 child. Wayne.

                  Matilda brought 5 children to this marriage. Mark,
                  Eleanor, Barbara, Stuart and Matilda MENO.

           (9)  ABRAHAM HAGGERTY: Born 8 May 1883, died 2 Mar
                 1967. On the 15 Jun 1907, he married Nina Mae Hill,
                 born 21 Dec 1889,  died 8 Feb 1979. (d/o Thomas
                 George Hill and Margaret  Wynn/Winn).
                 Both buried Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach, Mich.
                 They had 3 children. Kenneth, Edgar and Luella.

          (10)  DANIEL HAGGERTY: Born 11 Sep 1885, died 22 Jan
                  1960. In 1905, he married Elva Beatrice Marks, born
                  9 Aug 1885,  died 7 Dec 1967.
                  Both buried Port Sanilac, Mich.
                  They had 3 children. Ralph,  Robert and Ellen.

           11)  ROBERT HAGGERTY:  Born Dec 1890. On the 28 Dec
                  1910, he  married Elizabeth Stanton.
                  They had 8 children. Francis, Alvin, Virgil, Kenneth,
                  Robert, Arthur, Dwayne and Della.
