The grass always looks greener
on the other side of the fence,
And if you don’t take the chance
it will leave you in suspense.
You make take that chance
or you will never know,
If it was that chance
to help you grow.
But then it could go the other way
and leave you in sorrow,
And make you feel so sad
you don’t want to see tomorrow.
So you just don’t know
which way to turn,
But making those mistakes
will help you learn.
Please take my advice,
and be careful what you do,
'Cause you just may loose someone
very close to you.
The one whom you loved so much,
and would sacrifice,
Yes, I’m talking about
the love of my life.
The love you two share
will always grow and grow,
Don’t ever let it melt away
like the winter snow.
The way you were brought together
may have been fate,
But don’t let go as I did,
'cause then it is to late.
Yes, the grass which looked so much greener
on that other side ,
Made me loose out on my true love,
and my guide.
So please friends take my advice
and be careful what you do,
The pain I feel...
don’t want happening to you.
