How long does it take
For God's love to fade and die?
And how long 'til we brand
ourselves worthy to sit on high?
How much time is essential
to reach the bounds of space?
Or until God's accord no longer brings
a broad smile upon my face?
How long will I be forgiven
by the Man that died for me?
How long will upon my death
my Spirit be set free?
How much time will it take
'til my love for Christ diminishes?
The same amount of time I'm sure
as something that starts, but never finishes
How prolonged will I sustain love within
for my children and my wife?
How long until I taste the sting of death
after Jesus gives me eternal life?
How much time will pass
until the Spirit gives up on me?
How many sinners sit imprisoned
that only Jesus can make free?
God exists beyond all space and time,
He has no end or start.
Let us praise his offering
that we should never ever be apart.
