Gymnastics!

Well, the competition season is now mostly over here in Manitoba. The Summer Games are coming up in July, and will take place in Saskatchewan. If I hear any results or names, they will be posted.

In international competition, everything is going strong. The NCCA Championships were held in the U.S.A. in April, and Georgia's womens team has successfully held on to their standing as number one. Michigan, Alabama, Arizona State, UCLA, and Nebraska followed, as second through sixth.

In the mens NCCA Championship, Michigan came in first. Not too bad for a comeback after 24 years away from the NCCA competition. Ohio State and Nebraska earned second and third.

Svetlana Boginskaya has now found a new area to excel in. After three Olympics, she has settled down a bit: She was married in January, and is expecting a baby girl in the fall. Definetly, congratulations should go out to Svetlana, and her husband, William.
