Fun

When I was 4 my older brother used to teach me the names of the many bands that were on in the sixties, and one of them was the Stones. Maybe that's the reason I became heavily involved in the Stones as a hobby when I was 13, I don't know. I remember being in school being questioned by my friends what on earth I liked about them, but hey, I stepped into the right time, and up till this day I think it's the best time the Stones ever had: the seventies !

I still think to this day 1975/1976 was their best period and the most honest years, as today I strongly believe it's all an act and the music isn't so pure and so wild anymore. It wasn't a business in those days, not like real organized as now, and collecting was still lots of fun. Imagine a world without Internet and E-mail, depending on snailmail and get to know other people through fanclubs and stuff. Meeting some great friends of which two I want to name especially, 'cause thanks to them we (my hubby and I) came to meet the Stones in person in 1990. The highlight of our Stones career. Thanks Adri and Marian !!!

Around that same period I came to like an actor very much: James Stewart. I was 14 when I saw his first movie, and strangely enough I can't remember which one it was. I think it was "It's a wonderful life", by which I was so impressed, it's still one of my fav's till this day forward. Other great favorites are: "Bandolero", "Destry rides again" (OFCOURSE!), "Mr. Smith goes to Washington", "The Flight of the Phoenix", "The Cheyenne Social Club", "The Man from Laramie", "Harvey", "You can't take it with you", "Anatomy of a murder", "The Jackpot" and "Shenandoah". Oh well, there are too many, but those are the ones highest on my list. There are good sites on Jimmy, so any attempt from my part are totally wasted. You can get to the best on my  links  page.
As young as I was in discovering and liking those two "items" amongst others (see  other interests ), as late I was in discovering Christopher Walken.Nevertheless their was the Internet, which made it easy to find stuff and people! There is a great site on him. Check it out on my links page.

And take a peek at my special page on Chris.

My most favorite movies of him are "The Prophecy", "The Prophecy II", "Scam", "Search and Destroy", "Things to do in Denver when you're dead", "King of New York", "Communion" and "Wild Side".
Check them out if you have the time and can find them! Sadly enough some of them aren't available, of which I think the world should be ashamed.
