A little over a year ago I came to watch Communion on t.v. and see Chris Walken in this magnificent movie which stuck in my mind ever since. Come to think of it I remember I'd seen him in "Batman Returns", but didn't notice him then. Looking back on that, I know why now. His role is cute in Batman Returns, but not used to the full. In "Communion" it is. Chris is great in that one, for one because it's a movie in which he gets the chance to show the world he is verrrrry good in playing roles in a more normal family-situation kinda thing. I wish there would be more movies where that one's coming from.
I am still hoping for a sequel to that one (like: Transformation and Breakthrough). Anyway, then I saw Prophecy, and if there's one part that is "so Chris", it's that one ! Anyway, I was hooked and stayed hooked ever since.
I recently saw the worst movie ever made (with Chris in it) "Last Man Standing", but in a total of over 50 movies, that's not a bad score. Even in a bad movie, Chris plays his role brilliantly.
My favourites are definitely

  Search and Destroy
  The Prophecy, Prophecy II
  Scam
  King of New York
  Communion

Ofcourse there are others: Wild Side, Things to do in Denver when you're dead, Nick of Time, Biloxi Blues, Witness in the warzone (aka Deadline), Brainstorm, At Close Range, Dead Zone and The Funeral, to name but a few of the best.
As he isn't on tv much over here, I hope some of you will go to the local video store and rent one of the above if you feel like it and have the time one day! *grin*.
You won't be disappointed !
