The Beyond Cayuga's Water's Virtual Cornell Campus

Red line

The Cornell campus was a home for most of us for four or more years, but is never quite how we remember it. The campus changes on an hourly basis, and no one is quite able to keep up with it. Further, campus and off-campus life is always changing, whether it be in response to new school policy on freshmen living or to levitating vegetables.
The newest projects on the Cornell campus involve Sage and Tjaden Hall renovations, and a freshly-torn-up Tower Road. The new Sage Hall will begin hosting the Johnson School of Management in 1998, moving from Malott Hall (which will, in turn, house the mathematics and statistics departments) into the former Graduate Studies building. Tower Road, despite years of construction during the recently completed renovation to Ives Hall (ILR), is now again in pieces, as not all the necessary fixes were made last time.
Lastly, the alumni guests to campus can not help but be dismayed by the gaping hole left by the missing clock in the bell tower. The chimes are getting retuned for the first time, and the Tower is surrounded by scaffolding. The project is scheduled to be completed before Commencement, 1999.
