Here is our newest poem called "Obsessed"... it was written about what it feels like to be at a Matchbox 20 concert...so read on and email me your thoughts!

Obsessed

While we wait for you to come into sight

we’re prepared for the excitement tonight

He taps his foot, she fixes her hair

but in a few minutes no one will care

The lights go out and everyone screams,

as if they had no clue what this means

The screams die down, silence arose,

the curiosity and excitement grows and grows

Then the music blasts and the singing starts,

the tunes and voice come straight from their hearts

The room is hot but we don’t die,

all we can feel is a natural high

The concert feeds our rush, we jump around,

everyone here lives for this music, this sound

We come here because this show is the best,

and we’ll come back again because we’re obsessed

Silent.

AHHHHHHHH!!!!! This was the BEST concert I have EVER been to!! It wasa thousand times better than the last one of theres!!! We (me and mysister and my dad) got to the place at 530 and waited in line until 7 when doorsopened. Everyone rushed inside. Then we got to the auditorium part and had towait another hour before that David Garza guy came out. This guy thought hehad a great butt because he kept showing it to us! ewwwww!! He thought hewas all that...but...i got some news for him. Anyway...he played for about 45minutes and then they started setting up for the guys!! It took them FOREVERto get them setup!! But all of a sudden it went pitch black and a little movie screen came down and they showed a little movie (like 2 minutes) ofcars and a phone booth and then a countdown began.....6......5......4......3.....2......1!!! I started SCREAMINGwhen I seen it get to 5 and then the lights came on and they started withBusted (as always)!!! Rob was wearing a see through kinda blue button shirt withblack pants (but not the leather ones =( ). Adam was wearing...ummm...i can't remember his shirt but he had on some awesome green crushed velvetpants!! He looked GOOD!!!! And Kyle was wearing a snake skin shirt and belt withsome pants that i can't exactly describe. But it didn't exactly match hisshirt. Brian was wearing a rainbow shirt and black pants (i think). And icouldn't see paul. But they closed with Push.....and of course the crowd went INSANE!!! Rob and Kyle came back out and sang "Time afterTime"......Rob sounded sooooooo good!!!! Then they sang "Hang"...wich sounded REALLYgood!! Then they sang "Heaven" or was it called "Heavy"??? i dunno but itsounded cool. And they ended with "Long Day"....in wich Rob kinda changed thewords to a little bit.....but it still sounded good!! =) Then it was overand they made us all go out side! =P It was about 10 degrees (if that). Aftera while Kyle came out and everyone (about 20 people or so) gathered around andgot his autograph. I got a picture with him and my sister and dad got hisautograph. It was kinda funny.....after he signed my sisters ticket she goes"thank you very much" and Kyle says "no problem sweetie". My sister (who's 13) was freaking out!! She thought it was sooooooo great that KYLE called her sweetie!! =) So after kyle signed everyone's stuff and took all thepics he went onto the bus and hung out with his parents. After that I metMeera (hi meers!! =))....and then we waited for the other 4 to come out. The onebus kinda pulled away and me and Meera started following it =). And whatdo ya know...there they were!! I got 2 pics of Rob signing autographs. Heonly signed like 4 things! My sister being one of the lucky ones!! But thepoor guy looked absolutely exhausted!! Then I went and snapped a quickpicture of Adam signing some autographs. After that I went up to Paul and askedhim for a picture......and just as he was about to put his arm around me for the pic...some girl grabbed his other arm and swung him around and stuckher ugly face in his and got a pic!! =P i was sooooo pissed off that i justwalked away =( . And after that Adam was already walking away to! So all Icould do was just stand there and look and be sad. Cause I had talked to Adam earlier this week and he promised me a pic. So there he was walking away....=(. I dont remember hardly any of this...so my dad is tellingme as i'm writing. My dad goes...."Hey adam, what about Rush300?" And I do remember the look on his face when he turned andgoes......"Rush300....oh yea! where is she??" it was a look I will NEVER forget! And I was standingright in front of him...but my mouth went dry and I couldn't move!! You knowwhat i mean?? And my dad goes "she right there" and pointed to me. And Adamcomes up and gives me a hug and asks how i was doing and I said good and Iasked him how he was and he said good. And my dad asked if he could get our picand Adam said "of course!!" So I got my pic with him. And I was startingto snap out of my little panick attack transe of Adam remembering who i was! And I introduced him to my sister and he goes "come here i gotta give you ahug sweetie"...and he gave my sister a hug and shook my dad's hand. Andthen as he was walking twards the bus he looks back at me and goes "I'll write(email) ya soon sweetie!" I was like.....ahhhhhhhhhh!!! I love this guy!! =) So i was happy cause i got my pic with kyle and adam.....and my sister washappy cause kyle and adam called her "sweetie" =) AND she was 1 out of 4people who got Rob's autograph! Rob looked sooo tired. well....they all lookedtired! =) They put on an awsome show!! And the crowd wasn't violent AT ALL!! Wich made me VERY happy!!! No crowd surfing or anything. My throat isKILLING me now though....all that screaming!! I was third row from the frontright in front of Rob! The ONLY bad thing about the concert was.......someIDIOT who was standing behind me knew ALL the words to the songs and sang themall in his adolesent voice that made me cringe!!! I wanted to HIT him and puthim out of his misery!! But oh well. =) It was the BEST ever and I hada GREAT time!! But I didn't get to meet quoop =(. Maybe next time. But forall of you who are going to upcoming shows.......I hope you have a BLAST!!! That's all for now.....my fingers hurt!! =) bye bye!
