Coming Soon to the 80s Child Website!
Clothing/Style:
Ill be researching this for a while so I can get alot of stuff for it. I'm planning to put pictures of alot of different 80s models and pics of people including movie stars dressed in their ever remembered 80s Style/Clothing. Id also love to put together a few how-to's on dressing this way again, like if you're school is having an 80s retro party where you can go to get the gear and some make up tips that I'll be looking for in old 80s teen magazines.
Movies:
Are one of my favorite things in the world but I havent tackled making a page about all the best ones from the 80s since there were so many, but I've wanted to for a long time so now....On the list!
I'll be adding a section about the history of this site, some of you may not remember or didnt know that this site was once on www.80schild.com. It got alot of hits at that addy and I got some really ineteresting stories that some of you might be entertained by. Ill be working on this slowly since it's mostly fluff just so I can remember the old days of the site :) but it will be entertaining none the less!
Speaking of the old days, I used to have a gigantic list on the site that had every single 80s cartoon I and people who emailed me could remember. Geocities for some reason ERASED THEM ALL and I havent redone the list, but I plan on doing that after a few of the others above are done. I plan on having more than a list this time, I'd like to put individual sections on most of the cartoons so that'll be quite a chore in its self:P. My idea for it is inspired by 80s Chicas old cartoon site, I bet alot of you remember that site, it was the one that got me into designing my own website! Katy Cartee who now webmistresses/designs/does everything else at rainbowbrite.net talked me into actually doing the site and she helped me get the 80s Child web ring off the ground (along with doing all the art for me!). So id like to revisit those days and add some really good cartoons to the site.
I'll be working on the above at various times so in the near future those will be great additions to this site!
