I'm in the process of creating a web page that if nothing else, I will visit and enjoy immensely. I've had a few suggestions that I actually write something about myself on this page. Most of what you see here represents me. I'm a huge Indians fan, I LOVE the band, Third Eye Blind . I have a kitty, named Rajah, that I absolutely adore. So what else can I tell you? I'm a Spanish major at BGSU. I studied in Alcala de Henares fall 98. I'm from Minerva, OH which is about a half hour south of Canton and three looong hours from Bowling Green. Besides Third Eye Blind I love Dave Matthews Band. So yes I'm very ordinary ;) And I love movies. Two of my favorites are Pulp Fiction and Swingers. Anyway I've written more than enough I hope you enjoy.

Please come back soon and visit me. If you have any questions feel free to email me. SIGN MY GUEST BOOK!!!

Third Eye Blind, led by Stephan Jenkins is definitely a band worth listening to. In a world of interchangeable, same-rock product, the relatability of Jenkins’ lyrics and his overall perfectionist nature help give Third Eye Blind—like ’em or lump ’em—a strong authorial presence, an extremely distinct voice. At the heart of the group’s sound is the blend of hope and melancholy; many of the songs focus on breakups or relationship turbulence — actual, impending or imagined. There exist stark, sometimes shocking moments of unguarded pain and earnestness on all three albums, lending credence to Jenkins’ assertion that songwriting for him is a personal salve

While I studied in Spain, I took an awesome art history course with my professor Javier. One of my favorite people we studied was Salvador Dali, one of the world's most amazing surrealists. And even better he existed during our lifetime (he died about 10 yrs ago) so it's not like totally something you only read about in history books. To check out a great web site with many of his paintings and even some explainations go to the Dali Gallery. I was fortunate while in Spain to visit the Museum of the Reina Sofia which has a few of his paintings including one of my favorites "woman of the shoulders" which shows his sister looking out a window. The one shown here is called "the persistence of memory" one of his better known works. I'll stop jabbering about how wonderful he is now and let you go look for yourself!

I also have this thing for squirrels, it's not exactly an obession, I just get a really happy feeling when I see one. And not just any squirrel will do mind you, it has to be a grey squirrel. None of the brown ones for this Princess. Here in BG, you can see them year round, climbing trees, scampering across the lawn, or eating lost food. And I don't know why but everytime I see one, I have the insane desire to stop and just watch them. I think it's b/c they are such simple, content creatures in nature and it just relaxes me so much. Okay so you want a link? Here's a fun one.
Hail to Squirrels

This is my princess. I've had her for 3 years now, and she is by far one of the coolest cats I've ever met. She sits, she stays, she fetches and yet she's not a dog =o) Although I got her fixed at six months, she still seems to have some sort of maternal instinct and cares for and sometimes gives to me a stuffed duck that she's had since she was a kitten. You can see for yourself what a doll she is. Although she is an indoor cat and always will be this picture was taken on a visit to the city park, where she spent the day trying to chase squirrels despite her leash.

Another St. Patrick's Day may have come and gone but it's still my favorite one!
