Many nights I laid in bed staring up at the ceiling
wondering if we shared the same lonely feeling.
I missed you so much,
I yearned for your touch,
I missed the sparkle in your eyes
that are like the stars that twinkle in the sky.
I miss the scent of your skin and your hair
but as we both know life is not always fair.
I missed holding you tight
but you kept telling me everything would be alright.
We would be together again and it wouldn't be long.
I just had to hold onto our memories and be strong.
Knowing we would be together again
and I would feel your silky soft skin
and kiss those lips so tender and sweet
cause with you my love I am complete.
