Love is the meaning of life, a wonderful institution, something that should be sought after and cherished...yeah right.
In reality, love is a cruel foundation where lives are broken and souls are ripped apart by pain and lies. Well, something like that anyway. Some may argue that it is not love itself that is the problem but rather the hate that is connected with breaking up. I don't see the difference. Falling out of love is as quick and simple as falling into it, and is usually part of the cycle. Sure some people can manage to hold onto love for their whole lives, but those people are quickly becoming an endangered species.
Love is like Santa Claus, you believe in it when you are a kid(ed. note: yeah cause I was all grown up when I was 17...)but find out it is a bloody lie. How can something that causes so many problems be wonderful? It can't.
Even if love succeeds it never stays in one form and often the couple learns to resent each other. There are lies, arguements, backstabbing and acts of unfaithfulness that destroy the 'wonderful feeling of love.'Petty arguements soon grow to be obsessions which fester to become earth shattering problems
This opinion will not be a popular one. There are people I can never be friends with or even talk to again because of someone I either used to love a long time ago or just recently. Nothing good has come from love and until it does (sha right) I'll continue to think this way. So have a great Valentine's Day, I'm going to go play some Mortal Kombat.
Well wasn't that lovely? As usual, if you want to respond to this email me at the address bellow, although I have heard about as much about this article as I want to for the rest of my life.
