    It seemed like only yesterday that the Seahorse Masquerade Ball was looming in the horizon, and I was still unprepared for it. It was certainly exciting shopping for the event, looking for the right masks and outfits. I would like to thank Edith for the wonderful job she put into my mask, which was modelled from the mask previewed in the movie 'Entrapment'. I would highly recommend calling her for any of your 'masquerade' needs. Thank you Catherine for the trip to Ediths to sort out the masks, and then later to Mortisha's to pick up my corsetry. In case you don't know, Hillary of Mortisha's has developed a corset suitable for the male form at a reasonable cost of $295 (before GST). For more details, contact her or Katrina on 9533-6255.
  Now that the ball has come and gone, it's time for the upcoming Seahorse meeting this Saturday. For those of you who did not make it to the ball, why not come spend the evening with us. I have also placed the first batch of photos I took at the ball in the Masquerade Ball 2000 page. On a different note, I have been asked by the Seahorse committee if I would be interested in taking up the position of web-mistress for the Seahorse website. I feel honoured to be given this opportunity, and have given Paula my acceptance for the post.
  I have been unsure about the format of this page for a while, since what I had here before did not allow me to update it with any latest news, thoughts I had or things I wanted to say. So, I've decided to move the old contents to the 'Introduction' page. The 'News' page as is will be replaced with a media page called "The Sarah Times". It will contain all the latest news and articles relating to 'transgender' issues from the newspaper, television and magazine sources. I'm still working out the correct format for this page, so please be patient. Please feel free to send me articles or alert me to sources of such material so that I can add it to this section.
