Welcome to the fast lane. The world of Formula One (F1) auto racing passes by in blur, could leave you spinning if you don't fasten your seat belts (but that takes the fun out of the risk of racing, wouldn't it? heh heh heh). Trying not to sound pedantic though, please do buckle up (no other connotations than the one intended), children, my readers are important to me. Yadda-yadda. Seat belts save lives.
Sorry for getting off track there. Now raising the checkered flag to admit this hottie:

One of the most, if not the most, colorful character in F1, Jacques is just amazing. In his first year of IndyCar racing ('94), he grabbed the Rookie of the Year award. Yum-yum. Beats a burger. In his second year, well, whaddya know, he became the champ (yawn! grin!). Figured that he'd "done that," Jacques switched to the world's most expensive sport, F1 Auto Racing. His first year: he became FIA Runner Up. Uggh, close call. But sure is a great feat for an F1 rookie. The second year he wouldn't let that slip away. So in 1997, Jacques got to sleep with his FIA World Champ Trophy. Back home in Canada, he received the Lou Marsh Award '95 & '97 given to Canada's most outstanding sports figure. In 3 years, 2 trophies, not bad. What a life.
Plus, he could butt heads (the car's) with the best (i.e. Michael Schumacher).
In his spare time, he just likes to dye his hair (rare for a F1 racer), rankle with the authorities, and sometimes piss off his colleagues, but that is all only part of his adorable charm: his no-nonsense attitude. Yet he knows when to have fun. That's our Jacques.

Why red? Red for the predominant color in F1 auto racing. For Jacques' Williams-Mechachrome machine. Red for hot-blooded racer!
