Ariel is a sixteen-year-old mermaid and star of this movie. She’s very beautiful and is quite possibly one of the prettiest Disney Princess’. Ariel’s imaginative, adventurous and curious. She’s utterly fascinated and enraptured in all things of the human world, and she and Flounder try to explore as much as possible to learn as much as they can about these... “humans”. She is a bit careless and forgetful at times, and can get into a bit of trouble. It’s love at first sight when she sees Prince Eric, and from then on she’s hooked: she simply must find a way to be with him! And that she does! Ariel’s voice is done by Jodi Benson (Thumbelina, Flubber).
