3 / 19 / 03 - Added a square face as the "go home" icon. If somehow this page gets enough content as to actually "surf" (or even just "wade") through it, this will be a good means of getting back to the main page. Every page will have it. It'll make life simple. Here it is, the red-face in all it's linkable glory.  ...I hope that was as good for you as it was for me.
Stuff about my life? Ummm, the world is going to war. The President just gave his "The 48 hours are up" speech, and I'm stuck here in Hawaii. All my family thinks that's a great and wonderful thing. I haven't finished dwelling over the fact I'm stuck here, so I don't know what I completely think about it yet. Perhaps when I'm 40, I'll have a house, and kids, and stuff and I'll be glad I didn't get sent to some small war, and was one of several who got killed. Maybe this thing will turn out to be huge. Vast beyond all imagination, and many will die (except me, I'm stuck in Hawaii). I'll look back, and wonder why not me? I'll be overwhelmed by how many sacrificed, while I snorkeled in the Ocean. How many were seeing things I can't or maybe just don't want to imagine as I go party in Waikiki. I didn't realize up until I started writing this that this bothered me so much. I've talked to myself (yes I talk to myself) wishing I'd be going over there, yet at the same time glad I wasn't. I don't know what to think. I'll most likely look back on this in just a year from now and think I was just a mumbling idiot about my problem-of-the-moment. Oh well. Here's hoping things are normal again here soon. Well I rambled on enough... Hasta 3 / 16 / 03 - Added a baby picture page. Also made some "baby face in a star thing". It was supposed to be all TeleTubby-esque, but it didn't turn out the way I wanted. It's still a baby face in a star, so I guess it works. That is all. 02 / 6 / 03 - Wow, it's been for ever since I've done anything to this place, and probably for good reason too. Nothing's ever going to come of this place, no one ever sees the stuff here. I guess with the stuff I put up that's a good thing... Here's what I've been up to. I joined the Marines. Moved to Maryland. Went to school on an Army base to learn how to repair guns (my job, go figure). Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. They love that base. The Army uses it for everything. Personally I don't give two farts about it. It was humid, and never mind the people in the towns around there *shudder*. I was only there two months, three months, something around that time, and I don't care to find out, basically it wasn't long... So I went there, learned how to do my job, then I left. Here's where things stop sucking. I get sent to Hawaii. Yes, the little Island state with all the sand, sun, and more sand, and sun, and sand and sun, and so on. Yes, there is a lot of sand and sun here. Go figure (again). It's decent here. There's a lot of traffic at times which really took me by surprise. I never thought about traffic and such, but it's here too. It's also really green here. So far just driving around, snorkeling, and driving some more seems to be what I do most. I know, I lead such an interesting life. It is funner than it sounds though really. Well now that I got the internet here in my room, I think I'll up date this thing every so often. Maybe even finish stuff I started two years ago... 7 / 19 / 01 - I got the new car section of my site up. It's super-fancy. Has pull-down menus, tables (as almost all my pages do now...), a neat leaping cat logo, and it's actually organized!!! In it will be places for me to keep tabs on when I've done what work on it, a place to read on this car's life and what it's been though, a page of links to other xjs pages, and pictures. Lots and LOTS of pictures. As of today, it's not completely done. I hope to have all pages filled with content by the 10th of next month. 6 / 20 / 01 - Go listen to FNkYCHkNMoN's music. He's good, and you need to know it. His music is the answer to that nagging question of "what's missing in my life". Go, go. Listen, enjoy. Site updates? None! So shove THAT up your pipe and smoke it! NyAR!!! |
