![]() 2005 was a whirwind year for us. Martin and I had an amazing wedding in Scotland. We were married in a beautiful ceremony at Fyvie Castle. We were very fortunate to have a large number of family and friends travel to share in the day. After the ceremony, we had our evening reception at Pittodrie House. The day was fabulous and even more so than we originally thought (more on that to come…). The whole day was gorgeous and a fun time was had by all - see for yourself. ![]() We had a week-long honeymoon in Dubai, UAE and stayed in the very luxurious One & Only Resort Royal Mirage. Dubai was an ideal vacation and we enjoyed it so much we are going back for our one year anniversary next month (and Paul’s wedding!). After returning to our home in Katy, TX and to our children J.R. (Jake Rosco) and Sue Ellen (our gorgeous rescue black labs) we thought things would settle down a bit and we would take advantage of some quiet time. That lasted about a week and then we found out our wedding day was even more successful than originally thought – we were pregnant. And that’s why we’ve set up this page. Madeline Grace has arrived and we want to make sure that all our family members and friends around the world see her pictures and updates whenever they want (since Jess is bad about emailing when work is busy). ![]() So please enjoy the site – I’ll post updates about Maddie on this page in case you’re interested in her height/weight, turnover skills, smiles and gurgles, and all the other little things that have become momentous occasions here in the Thomson household! ![]() Madeline Grace – born October 20th, 2005 in Katy, Texas (as Martin would say “in exile” from New York and Scotland!) She was 4 weeks early but very healthy – only thing she needed was weight. She was born 5lbs, 14oz and 18 inches. ![]() December 19th – Weight is no longer a problem. Maddie has grown to 11lbs 11oz!!! She’s thriving in all ways. She holds her head up very well and is extremely alert during the day. She’s her mother’s daughter as she’s already developing a routine! Smiles come very easy these days (see here). ![]() ![]() ![]() |
