Welcome to a quick look at one of our new classes at PHS this year. Starting in August, I will be teaching a course about Business Law. According to the CATE standards, this course is "designed to provide the student with a knowledge of the legal environment in which a consumer operates, to provide the student with a knowledge of the legal environment in which a business operates, and to provide the student with a knowledge of legal principles."     We will be looking at a variety of cases and information about laws that impact our business world today. If you are interested in getting a preview of this course, there is a powerpoint describing the topics that will be covered during this semester long course.     Also, we will be attempting to learn about our legal system and the jobs that are available to our students in the future. Hopefully, we will be able to put on at least one class wide debate featuring a case from our studies. Get ready, y'all....we're getting ready to learn!
