1999 is going to be an interesting summer, I'm starting off the summer in June with a 2 week White Water rafting trip down one of the most exciting rivers here in the southwest. Then in August, I'm planning a repeat of my Nude Canoeingtrip. If time and schedule permits, I'd like to schedule this close to a White Water Raftingtrip that a friend is doing, so participants could do both. Both of these trips have openings and more people can signup.

For those unaccustomed with nude recreation, following are the links to two National organizations that I belong two, as well as one Arizona club. Then there are pointers to other interesting articles that describe what nudism is about, and show nudists in serious sports.

Thinking that many new people reading this page may be reluctant to try nudism based on Christian principils they were taught, I hope to list several Christian oriently links here to address those concerns.

So what are the ways that I enjoy nude recreation outdoors? How about:

• Canoeing in Utah's Canyon Country.
• Houseboating on Lake Powell.
• Running, usually in Nudist Parks, but San Francisco has an interesting race on city streets (only in San Francisco!).
• Sailing in the South Pacific and the Mediterrean.
• Rafting, usually in Utah and Arizona canyons.
• Burningman, this alternative society, created in the Nevada desert one weekend a year, allows nudity as one of many forms of self expression.
• 4 Wheel Driving, usually in Utah and Arizona.
• Hiking, usually in Utah and Arizona.
• Backpacking, usually in Utah and Arizona.
• Motor boating, while we can do some of this on our houseboat trip, these can also be short day & weekend trips from Phoenix out to area lakes.
• Snorkleing, usually combined with sailing or resort trips.
• Cap d'Agde, the French naturist (nudist) zone that gets over 40,000 visitors per day during the summer holiday season.
• Caribbean Resorts, that have nude beaches and allow some nude activites on or adjacent to the property.

All pictures are copyrighted by Charles Crockett, 1997, and no use may be made of them in any other media. Most pictures will be of me, since other trip participants usually requested that their pictures not be publicized, and that request will be honored.

Due to the request of GeoCities not to have nude pictures in the home page, I am being careful with the types of pictures I can publish. You will notice they are small, and they will not enlarge well. What some may view as objectionable parts of the pictures may be masked.

There are times in the southwest, and occassionally other parts of the country that nude recreation is quite enjoyable.

• Temperatures are warm (maybe 100+ deg F, that's hot), clothes are not needed for warmth. Sunscreen provides protection from sunburn.
• Insects. They don't exist (usually).
• Isolation. No roads or houses for miles around.
• Lightly used by other outdoor enthuisious. Minimizes contact with people who may be offended.

When I first considered creating this web page, I envisioned lots of details about the trips. However, upon further thinking, I felt it wiser to not overly publicize the exact location of where we go, less people search us out just so that they can be offended and make a complaint. While areas are to be shared, on the other hand, most of my trips are solo, and efforts to get companions have not been successful. So if you want details, you'll just have to come along.
