E2 Colleagues...
I worked with my colleagues from the E2
legal-team. Also known as the "kitchen sink" - we dealt
with corporate claims that did not fit into any existing category.
There was a load of people, and here are a few for whom I managed to get
some good mug shots!

Here am I with Ucheora (which in English, means "Death has come to the wrong man..."). He and I worked through a very tough set of claims. At the end of which, I declared "I will drink with you, I will party with you, but never again will I work with you!" Why? Because Uche is like the well fed lion: few things worry him. He waits till the last moment - I mean the last moment - before he pounces. And then, he's as impressive as a lion on the hunt. But I don't think I can wait till he acts...I would have stressed out too much by then. |

Marian and Luis. What can I say - they make me laugh! They were our paralegals, and helped us get the cases together for the Panel. Marian is from the Phillippines while Luis is from Peru. I am told that after 5 years of sharing an office with Marian, Luis's Tagalog is actually quite passable! |

Okay. Rachel (from Australia) on the left, isn't
really E2. She just had an office on the same floor. But as
she knew all the information of the E2 activities, she was part of the
team as far as I was concerned! And boy did she make all of us feel
like laggards! In 3 months, she travelled to more cities than most
of us had done in our collective time in Geneva.
Angela - well. A lawyer from the Philippines, whom everyone says "She's so nice!" Wherever you are now, Angela, keep smiling! |
