But only to those who seek... Welcome, friend!

(It takes a few minutes to load, depending on your connection, but it's really me! *L*.)

Hi! Welcome to Wunderkind's home page! I'm going to try to include a lot of stuff here that reflects my thinking and philosophy on a wide range of issues and subjects. I don't always expect you to agree, but I hope you'll listen with an open mind!

Some of what I'm going to talk about here isn't even necessarily my opinion; but it does represent topics and issues I think are worthy of review and discussion as we come to the close of the 20th century. So don't think ill of me if you see some things here that may shock or offend. As a confirmed libertarian, I believe that no idea is a bad idea, and no lifestyle choice is a bad one, if it promotes growth as a person, a society, or a world - AND - so long as it infringes on no other person's ability to pursue the same objectives.

There's still a lot under construction here, so please bear with me if some of the links aren't ready yet, or some sections are incomplete. AND, please sign my guestbook and let me know what you think. Your feedback and comments are both helpful and important to me. This page represents a lot bigger effort than I originally thought it would, but the great positive comments I've gotten so far help me keep going. You'll also notice this page is focussed much more on content than "bells and whistles" - cute graphics, fancy backgrounds, etc. This reflects both the reality of my limited HTML skills and my priority on content over the frills.

So, read on! And don't forget to share your viewpoints! (Especially on the cyber page - I know you've all read that section...*LOL*)

Update: Hi, folks. I have let this page be neglected as other interests and other projects have consumed a lot of my energy lo these many months. I'm webmastering an organization's page, and involved in starting up a new non-profit. So, I'm cleaning this page as time permits. Most of the content is still good, so please read on, but don't be terribly surprised if some of the links (like my counter!) have gone dead. Thanks and enjoy!

If you liked my page, please talk to me! (And tell others, too.)

I'd like to recognize and express my genuine appreciation and admiration for the wonderful people who made me the Webaholic I am... my friends from Rob's Place... at one time, the friendliest chat on the Web; gone through some rocky times lately, but it's still "home."

Thanks and *huggs/hi-fives* to: Allura, BabieBlues, batman, Big Dog, Bodypaint, BowlBeast, brit, Chantal, CHARLOTTE, Cheetah, chevy, Chipper, Cruise, Cybo, Darlene2, Debbie (aka Sadie, Anne, Sadie-Anne), DennisWV, dewey, dragonladee, Emily (aka Pandora's Charms), erethian, Faceman, gentle, Harlie, Hawkeye, isley, joey, Leg_Man, luke, maritina, Meridian, merry (aka merrier), Mindy5, Nicki, nurse (aka NICOLE), PoD, prissy, RamBuster, Rena, rightturn, shabu, Sandi, Schilo, Skylark, Slip, sno-bunny, SpiceyHot, Sput, Sugar_Fox, Ta2, ted, texan, Texas Sam, ThatGirl, tickled_pink, Tif, Tippin, Tricksey, & Turtle(m)

And to my non-Rob's Place friends, gained mainly as a result of this page or ICQ ... the same *hugs or hi-fives* to: Amelia, Azrael, daze, Lizzie, Rebecca, Marie-Therese, & Sue

And then there's my poly friends, most of whom inhabit the world of Loving More Chat (Free, but you'll have to register the first time you enter.): AOM, BarbaraA, bethany, caren, cat, jorini, mountain man, sammo, soledad, silvergirl, & willow spirit; or the brand new Chesapeake Polyamory Network: Anita.

The background music you're hearing is the Aria de Mezzo Caraterre from the SquareSoft video game Final Fantasy III. It is an amazing piece of beautiful music, written for an action video game. When I first heard it, I fell in love with it, and only recently was able to find a MIDI version, which I immediately pounced on. In the game, it's a touching love song sung by a vanquished queen longing for word of her hero knight, who disappeared in the cataclysmic final battle for their nation's survival. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Want to see the lyrics?
