BEGINNING

Today I am starting this diary. It has taken me all morning to find a pen. It isn't so much a problem finding the pens as it is getting them to write since they are all frozen up.

Anyhow, after warming this pen on the fire for a few minutes, I managed to get it to write. It is now quite an ugly pen, melted a little from the fire, but it writes well. I hope you appreciate all that I am doing for you!

My fingers are frozen now, so I am going back into the igloo to warm up. More later...
